SPRINGFIELD, MO—Beth Phillips, United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, announced today that a Republic, Mo.,
man pleaded guilty in
federal court to his role in a conspiracy to conduct an
illegal gambling business by operating poker games in his home.
Donald E. Bishop, 66, of Republic, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Richard E. Dorr on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, to the charge contained in a June 22, 2010,
federal indictment.
